Why we should go for "On grid Solar Electricity System" than "Solar Water Heater System"
Solar water heaters just heats up the water. So it is limited in application. The capacity up to which it can provide hot water depends on the tank attached to it. Though the sun energy falls on the earth throughout the day, because of limited tank capacity, we cannot take the best usage of the system. In summer, we mostly don’t use hot water that results in under utilization of the system and in winter, we need more hot water but because of limited capacity, we don’t get enough. The condition is worse in most of the big societies, the first few buckets go waste while waiting for hot water to flow through the tap resulting in water wastage.
On grid solar Electricity system or rooftop solar system converts the Sun’s light energy into electricity. In the case of an on grid system, we do not need a battery to store energy/electricity thus the capacity limitation of the battery is removed and also the system becomes battery maintenance free. On grid rooftop solar systems supply extra energy or unused energy to the grid thus there is no loss/waste of energy and supplied energy also gets paid by DISCOM to the user. Whether it is summer or winter the electricity usage will be always there so the rooftop solar system always is best utilized vs money invested. Moreover, the rooftop solar system is 25 years maintenance free unlike solar water heaters.
